This peach fruit salad with honey lime dressing will keep you coming back for more. Simple and refreshing. Perfect for summer!

Every year, the kids and I count down to peach season. We are a fruit loving family, but peaches make the top favorite list. You can only get them for a short period of time when they are the biggest and juiciest, and actually worth buying at the grocery store. I prefer the flavor of yellow peaches over white peaches because they are so much sweeter.
Last summer we were able to go to a peach farm and pick some ourselves. We picked in the rain, and it was muddy, but the memories were totally worth it. I was so sad to hear that the family who runs the farm decided to stop operating it. If you are lucky enough to have a peach farm near you, make sure to take a trip to pick some for yourself!
My oldest daughter, Avery, recently got on a kick where she wanted me to make fruit salad constantly. I threw together a couple of quick bowls for the kids with different fruits mixed in for snack time. Then, decided I should try an actual fruit salad recipe out with some sort of dressing. Peaches are perfect for a fruit salad because they don’t fall apart easily and their flavor pairs well with so many other fruits.
How to Make Peach Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing
I love making super simple but flavorful recipes in the kitchen, and this one meets all the criteria. Anytime I am dealing with produce, the first step is always to wash them.
The Best Way to Wash Your Fruit and Vegetables:

I am a stickler for washing all of our fruits and vegetables really well. Using just water doesn’t clean things off as well as you would hope, so I opt for a better alternative.
The Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak is a natural, non-toxic way to clean your fruits and vegetables. You don’t have to worry about any toxic chemicals, and you only need to use a small amount to clean them well. Cleans off germs, waxes, parasites, chemical residue, etc.
I love filling up my farmhouse sink with water and a few capfuls of the Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak, then throwing in all of my fruits and vegetables for the week at one time to wash. It gets some meal prep out of the way and saves me time. You can also fill a bowl with water and a capful of Thieves Fruit & Veggie Soak and do a little bit at a time. I let everything air dry or pat it off gently before putting it in the fridge. Cleaning and removing the moisture helps fruits and vegetables last longer without going bad.
Another way to wash your fruits and vegetables is with a vinegar soak. Fill a bowl with water and add a splash of vinegar. Put a couple drops of lemon essential oil in for good measure if you have some on hand.
Making the Fruit Salad
After all of your fruit has been washed and dried, slice the peaches. Try to resist the temptation to start eating it all! I could eat several peaches in one sitting they are so good.

The basil needs to be thinly sliced as well. I wasn’t sure about adding this on the fruit salad, but it added such a great flavor and I’m glad that I did. Make sure that it is sliced thinly though. You definitely would not want to bite into a really big chunk of it.
Once the peaches and basil are sliced to your liking, grab a large bowl and add all of the fruit and basil into it. Then drizzle the honey and lime juice (honey lime dressing) all over and stir to mix well. If you are bringing this peach fruit salad to a meal with friends, wait to add the honey lime dressing until right before serving.
Peach Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing Ingredients:
- 4 ripe, yellow peaches, sliced
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 cup blueberries
- Fresh basil, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp honey
- 1/2 lime, juiced

Peach Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing Instructions:
- Wash all of your fruit
- Slice the peaches and basil
- Add all of the fruit and basil into a large bowl.
- Drizzle the fruit salad with the honey and lime and stir to mix well.
How to Store
This peach fruit salad will hold up well in the fridge for up to 2 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Make it ahead of time for a gathering with friends or enjoy the leftovers after. The lime juice helps prevent the peaches from turning brown and keeps it tasting fresh. If you do make it ahead of time, add the sliced basil last so that they stay fresh and green.
Recipe Variations
- Feel free to use various other fruits or substitute with different ones. Nectarines can be used in place of peaches. Strawberries, raspberries, and cherries would be great additions. Keep in mind that raspberries are very fragile and need to be stirred in very gently.
- I added pomegranate seeds on top of my fruit salad because I thought they looked beautiful, and I love the pop of flavor they give when you bite into them. They are not in season at the same time as peaches though, so they were pretty expensive at the grocery store.
- My kids are big fans of fruit, but I didn’t think they would enjoy the basil or honey lime dressing. So, I just put all of the fruit in their bowls for them to enjoy.

Tell me in the COMMENTS what other fruits you think would taste good in this fruit salad! I would love to try some variations.
